3.3 Double Doses

Marriage ends. You say goodbye to your wife and kids and... go to your girlfriend's house. While I don't necessarily condone his behavior... Eleanor wasn't getting any younger and he was really cute and I wanted to have a mermaid baby so they went and Woohoo'd in an igloo.

See?

And Brynn was standing outside building a Grim Reaper snowman... Are you threatening to kill him, Brynn?

Obviously, Rick was okay with all of this.

Aaaaand Eleanor doesn't seem to mind popping.

Obligatory pregnant Greene woman, sleeping in a rocking chair picture.

Interlude: Kyle was teaching a class at City Hall and ran outside to inspect the sky. A meteor fell RIGHT where he was standing, but luckily he was okay! Just a little bit singed. I was so very upset that he was going to die. NOT YET, KYLE. JUST HOLD ON.

Eleanor's pregnancy was actually fairly boring. She had no cravings besides wanting to spend some serious dough at the Spa. I sent her twice for a cheap-ish massage. She seemed happy.

Rick was over every day. Being cute and all. I couldn't decide if I wanted him moving in right away though. He needed to take some time to reevaluate his life.

Eleanor went into labor in the kitchen. Kyle was the only one that seemed to care.

Kyle took her to the hospital right away, Rick eventually joined them.

And emerged with TWO baby girls! Twins! Again! Gloria and Heidi.

They rushed home. Eleanor was EXHAUSTED, but was seriously an awesome mom. She would nap in the rocking chair and head straight to the nursery if/when one of the twins needed her. So sweet.

Yes, I cloned the crib that the 3rd Gen used... I love the design.

Okay, Brynn had to get in some grandma kisses when she got off work.

Before we knew it (seriously!) their birthdays really snuck up on me, but I PROMISE I got so much better at pictures once they were toddlers! And Eleanor should really reconsider attending her children's birthday party in her underwear. That's one for the baby book.

Gloria goes first... IS THAT BLONDE HAIR?!

YES. Awe!! And her eyes are PURPLE. Her traits are Brave and Loves the Outdoors.

Brynn helped out with Heidi's birthday.

Eleanor was very excited.

TWO BLONDES?! OMG. And Heidi looks like Penelope! Heidi's traits are Heavy Sleeper and Virtuoso. I'm such a happy simmer right now. These girls are GORGEOUS!

3.2 Scaley Romance

Kyle tried and tried, but he was unable to keep working full time and taking care of Penelope's Greenhouse. I demolished it and started working on a big backyard, but don't have any pictures, at this point, of the progress. It was sad to see it go, but necessary...

Eleanor was constantly working out. She got her first gig at the performance park, but was already level 5 of the Acrobat career... just because she was an obsessive exerciser!

Before her first show, she decided to give Rick Sheets a call and invite him out on a date to the performance park. This way, at least, she'd have ONE person in the audience.

She ran all the way there... See? Running in the snow. Workout junkie.

Right away, the her Diva trait and his Flirty trait were evident.

Everything was going 'swimmingly'. (This is funny because I just found out that he is a merman... A MERMAN. HIS LEGS ARE SCALES AND WHEN HE GETS INTO THE WATER IT TURNS INTO A TALE AHHHH)

"Who's that creepy lady watching me kiss my new boyfriend?"

Oh. That's his wife.

Eleanor Greene: Destroyer of Happy Marriages.

"I... BUT I DIDN'T KNOW!"

The Sheets family fell apart... right there in the middle of the performance park. It was so upsetting...

But the show must go on!

I still don't understand why she felt the need to wear her graduation cap and an outfit that wasn't exactly... an outfit while performing, but I'm just going to let a Sim be a Sim.

Back at home, it was the day before little Finn's birthday and Kyle was reading him a cookbook before bed... precious. :)

He woke up the next day and was just SO excited... (He is never excited. He eats, he sleeps, he goes to school...)

And he grew up... AND LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE LEIGHTON. Even the hair!! I didn't even give him a makeover. I'm perfectly happy with having a little Leighton walking around the neighborhood.

It was a wonderful day... filled with celebration. But WAIT. Someone's at the door.

Will Eleanor be a responsible adult and wait until Rick is done getting over his recent divorce? It's not likely... but tune in for the next chapter! :P

3.1 Definitely Diva

After a lot of consideration, I finally decided that the legacy was going to more forward... with Eleanor as the 3rd Generation Heir. She is thrilled.

Dexter's aging went well-enough. Besides the pony-tail he looks like a well-adjusted young man. He rolled ended up with the Neurotic trait - just like his mom! And then I kicked his lazy bottom out of the house.

Eleanor kept to her routine. School, homework, workout, go to sleep... repeat. By her birthday, she had 7/10 athletic skill points. Not bad!

And here we are! Eleanor's birthday!

Well... You can't win them all. She rolled the Great Kisser trait. Though her outfit was a little bit strange, I let her go to the park and audition for a job as an acrobat!

The proprietor wasn't too impressed, but she went ahead and let Eleanor join the profession. She'd need to earn some money making tips before she could actually get a stage show though. I took her home and gave her a bit of a makeover. Work was to start the next day!

You absolutely NEVER know what is going to happen when there is a full moon on the Sims 3. Ghosts, zombies, the occasional vampire... Strangely, I've never had a werewolf appear, but I guess I'll take what I can get.

The next day, Eleanor had her first day at work... She performed as a mime for tips and made around 25 simoleons. It wasn't much, but between working on her athletic skill and performing for tips, she DID end up in the 3rd level of the Acrobat profession.

As soon as she got home, she got a call that it was time to graduate from high school.

She decided to run there instead of take the car with the rest of the family...

She got her diploma and was voted Most Likely to Become a Sports Star! Well, close enough! She got a call immediately after leaving the school and a guy named Rick asked if she wanted to go on a date. She agreed - what could it hurt?

They met at the park and hit it off fairly well. And he was a cutie. They became quick friends, but Eleanor had to leave the date early and tend to some important things. She decided to invite him to one of her shows when she finally landed her first real gig!

To the gym we go! I swear, she is ALWAYS on a treadmill!

Here are some updated pictures of the house. I realize that I've been pretty bad at keeping you updated. I build as I go and forget to take pictures. But here's the outside! Maybe in the next few chapters, I will give you a room by room post. :)

And here's the Greene house with their Christmas lights on! It looks so pretty with the snow.
